Students can elect to participate in one of the MAPP dual-degree programs with either an MPH or an MBA degree.

MA IN PUBLIC POLICY / MASTER OF PUBLIC HEALTH (MAPP/MPH)
In collaboration with the Program in Public Health, the Department of Political Science offers a combined MAPP/MPH program that prepares students for a career in public health administration and policy-making.

- This program only offers Fall admissions.
- Students who wish to be considered for admission into the MAPP/MPH program must comply with all application requirements for the MPH degree alone.
- The MPH Admissions Committee reviews completed applications initially and recommends eligible applicants to the Department of Political Science, respectively, for final approval.

Curriculum
The MAPP/MPH program includes about 20 credits of overlap, which reduces the total number of credits in the combined program to as few as 63 credits. This program will take approximately 2.5 years for students to complete full-time. Students in the MAPP/MPH dual-degree program will receive both degrees upon completion of the entire program. Students will select an MPH concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Health Policy and Management, or Community Health.

MA IN PUBLIC POLICY / MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MAPP/MBA)
In collaboration with the College of Business, the Department of Political Science offers a combined MAPP/MBA program that combines public-sector insight with private-sector strategy, preparing students for careers that sit at the intersection of government, nonprofits, and business.

- This program offers Fall, Spring, and Summer admissions.
- To qualify, students must be either newly admitted, entering their first semester of the MAPP or MBA program, or have completed 12 or fewer credits in either program.
- Students can apply to either the MAPP or the MBA program first. Students will receive acceptance to both programs if approved by both departments.

Curriculum
The MAPP/MBA program includes about 6 credits of overlap, which reduces the total number of credits in the combined program to 72 credits. This program will take approximately 2 calendar years for students to complete full-time. Students in the MAPP/MBA dual-degree program will receive both degrees upon completion of the entire program.
