Cultural Italian American Organization (CIAO)

The Center for Italian Studies is proud to sponsor CIAO, a long-standing student club at Stony Brook University. CIAO to celebrates Italian culture, language, and heritage in a variety of exciting events. Past events included a Calabrian Halloween night and a Christmas celebration with panettone and pandoro, which are traditional Italian cakes. In Spring 2025, CIAO held an Italian game night (including bocce!) and an evening of Valentine's Day traditions. In the fall, we played Tombola and made Tiramisù with SBU Eats. Join us this semester for more fun activites celebrating all things Italian and Italian American!
