Samaira Pawa

Samaira Pawa is a junior from Syosset, NY, studying Sociology and Psychology at Stony Brook University. She is passionate about addressing inequality and inequity in mental and public health, as well as community well-being through policy, advocacy, and creative storytelling. She is involved in Student Government, Research, and Cultural Programming, and aims to create a positive impact in her community. 

“Why I joined CCSP” - I joined CCSP because it aligns with my dedication to challenging systems that perpetuate inequality. By exploring the intersections of policy, social justice, and community health, I hope to contribute to advocacy that dismantles systemic oppression and builds equitable systems of care.
